Christian & I had SO MUCH FUN visiting Tobin, Alison, & Hallie in Norfolk! Here are some of the highlights:
"Uncle CCHHRRIISSTTIIAANN...WAKE UP!" (Even if he was awake and alert!)
"Crepe Myrtles!" (Trees...not delicious thin pastries filled with sauce named after aunt Myrtle)
The 'Tans' (The place where Jan will spend her retirement years)
"AUNT BOOOOOZER" (I'm not sure if it's a good idea for my nick-name to suggest I am a drunk)
"Why is EVERYTHING DEAD here?" (Hallie's frequent question while visiting monuments of dead presidents, dinosaur fossils at the Museum of Natural History, and Arlington Cemetery. The poor girl didn't understand why everything we saw wasn't living anymore!)
Thanks so much for the fun memories and relaxing vacation! We loved spending time with you and hope to visit again very soon!
